Good Afternoon LinkedIn friends,
Last week I explored the concept of the hidden reason why we’re stressed.
( If you missed last week’s edition I will briefly summarize it here ⤵️ )
Most of us experience stress/anxiety because we have not made peace with the unfamiliar moments of life.
And It goes deeper than that.
Our nervous systems have not made peace with the unfamiliar moments of life.
WHY?
Because somewhere in our lives we decided life was unsafe.
Whether it is a direct experience or observed from our external environment — most of us have more than enough evidence that “life is not safe”, and “therefore I am not safe” to walk around in chronic states of stress and anxiety for the rest of our lives.
And we tend to bury that belief deep in our subconscious.
However, most of us don’t want to admit we’re the problem and the solution.
We’re seeing this being played out on a big screen right now.
People are experiencing and witnessing in others accelerated rates of:
— Anxiety
— Depression
— PTSD
— ADHD
— Auto-Immune
— Heart Disease
— Poor health + performance
At the root of it all is a lack of safety in the body which causes “Fight, Flight, Fawn or Freeze” which is a direct response from the autonomic nervous system, part of the central nervous system that something is perceived as not SAFE.
It’s as simple as that.
And yet, it’s complex.
Doctors don’t know how to “fix” it, otherwise, they’ll prescribe medication to numb or silence it.
Which is temporary relief.
But medication is not going to solve the root of your issues, it will help you minimize symptoms but those symptoms are like warning engine lights from your body.
Do you want relief or do you want resolution?
To access resolution you need recalibration.
Recalibration of the energy in which you hold in your body that responds to what you believe.
And what I LOVE about this ground-breaking understanding is that this isn’t “woo-woo” even though it’s like literal “WOO WOO” it’s proven through the world of epigenetics.

What is epigenetics?
It’s the simple knowing and understanding that our beliefs, emotions, thoughts and behaviours influence our genes.
Less than 1% of cancer is hereditary.
WHY?
Because those who get cancer typically believe because their mother, grandmother or father had it they will as well.
Therefore it’s “not safe.”
So the idea to explore here is that we must change our inner world to influence a different experience or result.
BUT…
Most people rarely end up making that change because that would require them to change their beliefs (despite everything they have witnessed or observed) and install a new belief system rooted in safety.
WHY?
Because most people address the mental before they ever address the energetic.
And yet, we’re energetic beings.
They think “they’re safe”, yet, on a deeper level, they have not changed the inherent belief that they are not.
Thoughts vs beliefs carry different e n e r g y.
— They lock their doors.
— They constantly worry/obsess over numbers.
— They brace for impact as soon as the needle drops.
— They perceive the “worst-case scenario” and plan for the worst.
The perception through the mind may be at a surface level, yes, it’s safe but at the subconscious level, it is not.
So you must be wondering if you’re read to this point…
HOW DOES ONE ENACT TRUE CHANGE?
I believe there is only one way.
(Maybe I am biased, maybe it’s because nothing else worked for me + I bet my safety on it)
Nervous System Regulation Through Breathwork
Breathwork helps us create safety in our bodies so we can digest our experiences that we’re unsafe, yet, consciously choose a new belief system and emotion that serves us in feeling safe.
BINGO.
It’s that simple.
I wish it was more complicated, and yet, in its simplicity, it’s very challenging.
Because breathwork helps you help yourself to;
— Process trauma.
— Face your demons.
— Feel your emotions/sensations.
— Shift your perception of how you view reality.
— Change the bio-chemistry of your cells/blood + c02 Levels
— Expand your chemoreceptors responsible for the fear response (create more resilience to stress/anxiety)
— Up-regulate your nervous system and move towards unfamiliar moments with more security in yourself.
Most importantly, it helps you to reconnect with your #higherenergy
And…

It’s time to start consciously choosing safety in a world that conditions us to not feel safe.
It’s time to change your beliefs, so we can influence our emotions and energy in a way that makes us FEEL ALIVE.
It’s time to make the jump off the cliff and know you will be supported.
